The Maine Outdoor Heritage Fund [MOHF] conserves wildlife and open spaces through the sale of instant, scratch lottery tickets. With proceeds from ticket sales, grants are awarded twice a year, totaling approximately $700,000 annually.

The International Appalachian Trail/Sentier International des Appalaches began as a commitment between Maine and Provincial Canada to work together as neighbors to sustain a common environment and celebrate the grandeur of a common landscape. In North America the trail connects elements of the Appalachian Mountains, crossing rivers, threading through spruce and fir forests, joining the people and cultures of the state of Maine with Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. This mission has now been adopted in Europe where several IAT chapters have been established. Progress to maintain and improve the trail experience continues in work with landowners, hikers, outdoor conservation organizations, and local, regional, and international governments.
MainelyMetals' MailSwing Mailboxes is a family owned business that manufactures the MailSwing, a swing away mailbox system. The MailSwing was designed to help prevent damage from snowplows and vandals to rural mailboxes. It will withstand the harsh Maine winter snowstorms and is shipped all over the United States and Canada.
CCA Maine is the only grassroots volunteer organization dedicated to conserving Maine’s saltwater sport fishing and marine resources. It is part of a national organization with more than 90,000 saltwater anglers from Maine to the Pacific Northwest. CCA's focus is to help conserve important fisheries, help protect the rights and interests of saltwater anglers, improve public coastal access, influence state marine conservation policy and teach anglers of all ages about marine conservation.
